Trading on the path of a Christian: I can be what God asks and still trade if I can obey well

Uncertainty is good, stress bad, pray more, dont spiritually die

When I look a my pnl these days it does nothing for me. It wasn’t long ago I could feel ego or exhilaration or despair and dissatisfaction.

Im here to tell you its necessary to step away form that and release the outcome to God. If you lose you lose. It means your path to your understanding is much longer.

Its going to take people sometimes a long time to get away from their problematic psychology when in trades, not in the market or thinking at all about trading success or failure, including FOMO:

• needing

• wanting

• feeling

• ignoring

• reacting

These are some of the emotions for you to pray about and ask for a solution from someone on the path much farther along than you.

The native Americans used to have this as part of their teaching, and people in their tribes would listen to their elders. We dont do that anymore. We know everything its on Google.

God asked us to leave the world behind and follow Him.

Im a Christian and its my duty to obey God.

How do I trade and reconcile my conflicts with that?

I first have to ask if Im obeying in the first place. If I am, I have to help my neighbor, pray and read scripture, fast and go to Church.

Since we live in the world, and have kids and wives, its best we also listen to the teachings there as well.

For instance, if youre stuck on stress and your pnl (positive or negative) you are too weak and you should probably read the works of men living in the world and more scripture to see if you can follow God in this matter and if you can, then you can keep trading.

I think its an eternal struggle for me. Im young and ambitious and want to obey God and lead my family IN THE WORLD. I dont live in a monastery. I think the spiritual fathers understand this about “us” people living in the world.

The true attempt to live correctly will be to first step away from trading stress of any kind, reducing it and replacing it with works of faith.

I brought up native American virtue because they knew about the “camino de vida”. The path of life. It is long and we cannot rush it. Good or bad we must deal with it. It helps us to live in the world as they did. They knew white men existed elsewhere and were living in nature for themselves and understanding God at the same time. This is different than what we have now.

Our job is to live correctly if we want to utilize trading as a business, be careful with emotionality and stress as this is not correct and is a serious offense against God, and we need to be patient, kind to others, ask for help and to make sure we are questioning goals, and have limits and all of that.

AND THAT IS WHY THEY CALL IT A SERIOUS JOB FOR A SERIOUS PERSON.

Its impossible to not get stuck in worldly things. God understands that I think, I cant speak against teaching of the Church fathers and will be always obeying the teachings, but let me tell you the last thing..

Its ok to search for solutions that help us be better traders, AS LONG AS WE ARE GETTING CLOSER TO GOD as well.

If it doesnt, then its not worth our Salvation to get better at this charade before physical death.

Dont risk having a spiritual death for physical goods or ego

Does this make me bad or good? It depends.
